Job Description: Banquet Cook
The Rainier Club is looking for an experienced cook that has strong banquet/catering production skills and possesses the ability to multi-task. A typical shift can include butchery, soup making, vegetable production, and assisting with banquet execution. This individual needs to be proficient in grilling, sautéing, searing, braising and have good knife skills. The shifts mirror the business levels and can fluctuate between morning and evening. The Rainier Club is a from scratch kitchen that allows passionate culinarians the ability to learn and grow while using great ingredients in a professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to production schedule
- Assist with banquet production and execution
- Collaborate with the culinary team on menu development
- Research new ideas, techniques, and trends to evolve the menu
- Control product costs through rotation, cross-utilization, proper cooking, storage, handling, and labeling
- Maintain high standards of quality and appearance for all food prepared and served
- Adhere to the rules and regulations as stated in the Employee Handbook

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
