Job Description: Electrical Engineer
Rugged Logic, a leader in designing and manufacturing communication and power solutions for demanding applications, is seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join our growing team. Our innovative and highly reliable products are built to withstand the harshest conditions, supporting critical operations in aircraft, maritime vessels, and mobile technology.
We are seeking a new team member who will:
· Collaborate with a highly skilled technical team on projects that push boundaries.
· Design circuits using microcontrollers, RF technology, and control systems.
· Bring your ideas to life by creating and testing prototypes using CAD software and your soldering expertise.
· Conduct thorough testing and analysis to ensure our products meet rigorous performance standards.
Responsibilities
· Develop and design circuits utilizing microcontrollers, processors, and control systems.
· Bring designs to life by building and testing prototypes using simulation tools and your hands-on skills.
· Ensure successful product implementation by designing components that meet all performance and functional requirements.
· Conduct comprehensive testing and analyze data to verify design functionality and performance metrics.
· Evaluate the overall performance of the final product through rigorous testing procedures.
· Document your work meticulously, creating clear and concise reports for future reference.
· Embrace continuous learning, actively seek out training opportunities, and contribute to a culture of professional development within the team.
Qualifications
· Education: B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
Experience
· 3-7 years in design and assembly of satellite communication or related equipment
Skills
· The candidate should have a working knowledge of embedded C programming, microcontrollers
· Working knowledge of PSPICE
· Knowledge of Linux and PCB layout tools a plus
· Solid understanding of core engineering concepts
· Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner
· Hands on debugging and soldering of QFN and 0402 sized parts

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
