As a General Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing various carpentry tasks on construction sites. Your duties will include building, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. You will work closely with other construction professionals to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Must have own tools and own vehicle to get to the job site!
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials.
- Construct and install building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes.
- Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, and molding.
- Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.
- Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients.
- Operate hand and power tools, including saws, hammers, and drills.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborate with other construction workers and supervisors to complete projects on time.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter/Carpenter Apprentice or similar role in construction.
- Understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
- Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers, etc.)
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times.
- Good understanding of basic math.
- Good physical condition and endurance.
- High school diploma; Successful completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
