The Self-Assessment and Lifelong Learning Program Coordinator serves as the administrative coordinator for the Self-Assessment and Lifelong Learning Program. This position will work directly with the Self-Assessment and Lifelong Learning Program Manager to assist with coordinating interrelated projects within the Self-Assessment and Lifelong Learning program and to ensure they align with the mission and goals of the organization.
The ideal candidate will exhibit great attention to detail, strong organizational skills, ability to work well with teams, ability to effectively problem-solve complex situations, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to explain information and communicate effectively with various internal and external constituencies.
Components of this work include but are not limited to:
Assist in managing multiple self-assessment program projects and change orders concurrently and consistently and effectively communicate project status to stakeholders and project team members
- Regularly review, interpret and prepare performance data and documentation on a national level for 104,000 family physicians, disseminate information, documentation and reports to the entire organization to help the organization better understand the progress being made in the Self-Assessment and Lifelong Learning Program
- Identify enhancements to the current work and applications to foster process improvement
- Schedule program-related work, assist with daily operations and assist in coordinating program deliverables.
- Effectively communicate with board certified family physicians regarding self-assessment and lifelong learning certification requirements, assess physician needs and provide requested information to physician in a clear and effective verbal and written formats
- Establish and maintain stakeholder and team member relationships
- Assist in managing and maintain library of online self-assessment activities that are used by family physicians to maintain board certification with the American Board of Family Medicine
- Assist in maintaining Continuing Medical Education (CME) accreditation for all ABFM Self-Assessment activities to ensure family physicians receive credit necessary for maintaining medical licensure and board certification
- Other duties as assigned

Education
Bachelor’s degree from a fully accredited college or university required
