Position Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility for this position is to create, build and manage an outside sales department responsible for identifying, prospect outreach, pitching and landing programs clients for the Account Development department.

Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking and cold outreach.

Learn our business model, competitive advantages and unique selling position in order to present our company solutions to prospective clients.

Develop prospecting plans to ensure consistent qualified leads into the sales pipeline.

Develop a sales action plan with key strategies, objectives and targets to increase revenue and aggressively acquire new accounts.

Analyze, manage, and leverage comprehensive knowledge of market conditions, data, the competitive landscape, and industry trends.

Manage marketing resources in the development of proposals and presentations to prospects–including customer needs assessment, identification of required resources, management of customer expectations, and all subsequent follow-up necessary to close the business.

Conduct competitive intelligence assessments as required, including development and maintenance of an RFP database.

Work within our Salesforce.com CRM in order to manage prospect contacts and generate pipeline reports for management review.

Develop, manage and report to Sr. Management on all Sales KPI’s.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree and or formal sales training preferred.

A minimum of 5+ years sales experience and new business development, including new markets and/or verticals.

Ability to pitch various levels of leadership including C-level leaders through managers.

Previous experience in ASI industry a plus.

Experience using Apple computers and software preferred.

A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and establishing and keeping the pipeline full of qualified prospects.

Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to create enthusiasm, think quickly, and pivot when necessary while pitching clients and prospects.

Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop relationships both internally and externally.

Self-starter, driven and results-oriented requiring the proactive exercise of judgment and action, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience with a CRM tool (SalesForce).
