Behavior Technician
Duties:
- Work directly with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities
- Implement behavioral therapy interventions as directed by the supervising behavior analyst
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
- Assist with diagnostic evaluations and assessments
- Collaborate with the behavior analyst to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide support and guidance to clients and their families
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe environment for clients
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and principles
- Familiarity with data collection methods and procedures
- Ability to follow instructions and implement treatment plans effectively
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of client information
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
- Must be patient, compassionate, and empathetic towards clients
