Successful Director of Staff Development Nurse candidates will have the following:

Nursing Degree from an accredited college/university as a Registered Nurse (RN)

Current, unencumbered license to practice in South Carolina (Required)

Experience in a fast-paced, high admissions healthcare facility is preferred
The Director of Staff Development Nurse is responsible to plan and implement facility orientation, job skills training. In-service education and a Certification Training Program (if applicable) for the nursing assistants as required by regulations. Work with the Director of Nursing (DON) and Administrator to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. This position also provides direct resident/patient care.
