Job Summary:
A Planner/Maintenance Scheduler is responsible to take a maintenance plan and bring together all the resources needed to complete it. The Planner/Scheduler role involves assembling and coordinating the information, people, materials, equipment, along with all the other necessary resources to get the job done and done right safely the first time.
Job Responsibilities & Tasks:
· Develop and update quality job plans to efficiently perform routine planned maintenance work.
· Planning will include detailed scope development, identification and ordering of materials, determining detailed job steps, manpower and skill requirements, work execution Scheduling sequence, and specifying precision maintenance details.
· Works closely with Reliability Engineering to maximize equipment availability through the creation and archiving of effective job plans.
· Work in collaboration with Maintenance Technicians, Process Engineers, Maintenance and Production Supervisors, Supply Chain, and Reliability Resources to effectively execute the routine planned maintenance work process and improve equipment reliability.
· Provide troubleshooting support to identify Failure Modes and develop repair solutions for equipment and systems failures.
· Provide technical expertise and support for the Planning and Scheduling of Maintenance activities while ensuring safe operations, regulatory compliance and equipment availability related to manufacturing equipment and systems.
· Plans all work – ensuring equipment availability and that Work Orders have Materials, Labor, Special Tools, Safety Permits defined.
· Identify required materials from either stores or external suppliers based on detailed job plans
· Assure that Work Orders selected by the gatekeeper have proper status codes and that parts, materials, and external resources, if required, are available.
· Ensure all company policies and safety tools are either built in to Work Orders or are being used to complete Work Orders.
· Identifies and obtains materials and equipment required to execute requested work.
· Assist Maintenance and Production with detailed resource Planning, including people, plant and materials.
· Provide direction on min/max levels.
· Participate in quarterly Parts Room inventory.
· Ability to work full time at the plant site.
· Plan, organize and schedule workflow including Corrective, Preventive, and Predictive Maintenance work, project support and normal operations tasks to meet priority demands, and long and short-term projects.
· Follow-up, problem-solve, trouble-shoot processes, communicating scheduling information and status of maintenance work issues with customers and staff.
· Determine work plans based upon site-wide field trips, priority, available work force, and other criteria, review plans and schedules with associated management.
· Monitor, track, review, and analyze open Work Orders and Work Order aging for assigned maintenance groups.
· Enter, analyze, and extract data using the CMMS.

· Target 250 hours of Labor hours of work in Maintenance Back Log
· >85% of completed Planned work is completed withing 10% of the scheduled time (Planning Compliance)
· <15% Emergency Work Orders
Position Requirements:
EDUCATION
· Combination of education and experience will be considered
EXPERIENCE
· 3+ years of experience in Maintenance within a manufacturing environment
· Food or pharmaceutical industry manufacturing experience is strongly preferred
SKILLS
· Ability to understand technical processes and automated mechanical equipment.
· Strong background in Preventative Maintenance and repair of industrial manufacturing equipment.
· Ability to demonstrate logic and reason to identify problems and offer solutions.
· Demonstrated ability to meet operational goals while also fostering a positive work environment.
· Demonstrated commitment to employee safety and food safety.
· Strong interpersonal, communication, leadership, training and coaching skills.
· Proficient in the use of Corim, Microsoft Office applications MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project (or similar).

Pay: $75,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
