Examples of principal duties and responsibilities
Site liaison between Keys and staff at all sites in all five boroughs and Westchester
Observe and oversee projects at different sites
Supervise on-site supervisors
Identify and address successes, weaknesses, and challenges at all sites directly and with on-site supervisors regarding chef instructors, teachers, and teaching artists and create procedures/systems to resolve weaknesses and challenges
Foster, build and strengthen relationships with principals, school staff and after school supervisors at various sites
Conduct monthly site visits to monitor programs
Represent Keys to Abundant Life at assigned site meetings independently with principals, after school supervisors, on-site supervisors, etc.
Assist with referring and interviewing potential teaching artists, on-site supervisors, etc.
Help expand company’s growth through strategic partnerships and sponsorships, if possible
Assist on-site supervisors, teaching artists, and culinary instructors with researching, organizing and facilitating field trips
Collect attendance sheets from sites and on-site supervisors.
Submit attendance sheets weekly to office.
Create supporting documents for invoicing
Assist in the organization of the Keys’ storage units and equipment
Most importantly, you’re required to have a car. There will be times when you may be asked to travel across severalboroughs a single day.
Program managers are expectedstock sites with supplies. This includes some shopping. There is a possibility you’ll be asked to shop for food for up to 70 people and deliver to sites in a timely manner. (equipment remains at each site for the duration of the programs)
Physical strength And agility is a plus, as you will be expected to deliver equipment to and from sites. Often there will not be an elevator available, and the equipment can weigh up to 100lbs.
** MUST BE FINGERPRINTED & RECEIVE CLEARANCE FROM NYC DOE’S DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION**
· Bachelor’s Degree is required; a Master’s Degree in business management, public health, public administration, education would be a strong “plus”
· Minimum of 2 years in a non-profit or corporate environment
· Minimum of 1 year building partnerships and sponsorships for organizations
· At least 2 years of experience coordinating, managing or supervising contractors
· Strong interest and experience working with children (important and helpful)
· Comfortable balancing multiple priorities and deliverables effectively
· Aptitude in consistently addressing the needs of all related constituents
· VERY IMPORTANT: Must be outgoing and willing to call new leads and speak to them on KEYS’ behalf to set up meetings initially, and then to run/lead meetings
· Strong interest and willingness to give and receive feedback
· Must have a working vehicle.
· Commitment to outcomes-driven performance
· Ability to work collaboratively with various NYC agencies, sites and organizations
· Fluency in another language (not required, but a plus)

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
