The SBH Registered Nurse works with the patients, families, and health care team in the development of the plan of care. He/she carries out nursing responsibilities and acts as a liaison between school and school-based health center settings, which will contribute to the healthy growth and development of the individual child. Frequent communication outside of the work group is required to resolve disagreements, reach agreements, and clarify issues/processes. Responsibility exists to ensure that internal customers are satisfied with our services. As well, communicates with external contacts frequently and is responsible for ensuring ongoing and outstanding service. Carries out responsibilities per Baltimore Medical System Core Values, policies/ procedures, and applicable civil laws. Is accountable for efficient use of resources and support of the BMS mission.

Schedule/Hours: Monday- Friday 8-:00-4:30 PM
Required Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Preferred Education:
BSN preferred.
Required Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:
Current RN license in good standing issued by the Maryland Board of Nursing
Current CPR certification (Healthcare Provider) required.
Required Experience:
One-year clinical experience in acute or ambulatory care.
School nursing experience a plus.
Preferred Experience:
Pediatric and Adolescent nursing experience preferred
