Alyssa Campbell Therapies seeks motivated and passionate Occupational Therapist to join pediatric therapy home healthcare practice. ACT provides a flexible working environment within patients’ homes, schools, and daycare settings and also via teletherapy. Seeking a part-time (potential to grow to full-time), energetic therapist with a strong desire to be a team member.
Job Responsibilities As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide therapy services for children of all ages. You will also provide communication and education on various stages of the therapy process to patients, families, and other team members.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Evaluating patients for treatment planning and implementation.
- Establishing individual patient schedules in conjunction with other team members.
- Documenting the results of assessments, treatment, and follow up of services.
- Creating reports and service plans for each patient with appropriate goals and recommendations to follow for treatment plans.
- Monitoring patient response to intervention and modifying treatment as indicated in order to attain appropriate documentation for patient's goals and objectives.
- Collaborate as team with all involved with patient, including but not limited to families, teachers, caregivers, physicians, or other therapists.
- Conducting screenings to determine need for treatment.
- Supervising students and volunteers, when applicable.
Job Requirements
It is important to have excellent verbal and written communication skills. In addition to receiving a minimum of Master's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program, all applicants must have a valid and current OT license in the state of Florida. *One year of pediatric experience preferred.* All applicants must have strong organizational and time management skills, the ability work effectively with coworkers and families, and the ability to be flexible.
