As a Maintenance Lead, you will monitor machine performance including, downtime and output performance of equipment. You will provide the support and guidance for ensuring all plant equipment and facilities are in good repair and meeting production requirements by displaying advanced technical abilities and the ability to lead and support others within the maintenance team.
What You Will Do At Acme:
- This role will work both on the equipment in the production areas and in the office on the CMMS program creating PMs, assigning parts to assets, setting up part kits, and ordering parts. This role will be 70% on the floor, 30% in the office.
- Supports and prioritizes necessary repair and troubleshooting by managing priorities aligned to operational needs.
- Train new employees in maintenance work processes and procedures.
- Provides leadership to technicians to achieve root cause failure analysis.
- Manages the PM program via PM creation, PM allocation, and associated paperwork.
- Develop and order material as appropriate. Works in the CMMS program to ensure adequate spare parts are on hand.
- Ability to communicate equipment fundamentals and PM processes to colleagues.
- Safety as a priority while maintaining Lockout Tagout programs, Hot Work permitting, etc.
- Maintain plant equipment to OEM standards or better through continuous improvement.
- Other related duties as assigned.
About You
Your Education & Experience:
- 2-year Technical Associates degree or 5+ years relevant experience in maintenance.
- Experience creating PMs and inventory control within a CMMS.
- Must be proficient in Asset Management/CMMS, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software programs.
Your Skills & Abilities:
- Thorough knowledge of electrical distribution and controls in an industrial setting.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, pneumatics, and facilities maintenance.
- Demonstrate electrical control skills.
- Thorough knowledge of food processing and packaging equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as electrical and pneumatic drawings, safety rules, operations manual, and written directions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently required to stand and reach with hands and arms.
- Frequently required to walk, climb or balance, kneel, crouch.
- Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions; wet and/or humid conditions.
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Exposure to weather, extreme heat or cold, noise intensity level, atmospheric conditions, exposure to electrical shock, exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals, wet and/or humid, vibration, proximity to moving mechanical parts, working high exposed places, any other applicable environment conditions.

- Report all incidents including, near misses immediately to the Maintenance Manager, EHS Director, or o.ther plant leadership

Compensation Range: $30.00 - $43.00/hr.
