Collaborate with key executive and business stakeholders to assess, develop and maintain the clinical applications portfolio and related application roadmaps including the prioritization of new information and technology requirements.
Direct and oversee the Ambulatory and Post Acute Applications coworkers, and outside consultants as needed in the planning, development, and on-going maintenance of all strategic enterprise-wide applications across all Divisions and functional business units.
Create and execute a roadmap for deliverables based on requirements, projects, and support functions.
Develop and maintain relationships with senior executives in the business lines.
Build in-depth knowledge of the business success drivers, industry trends, regulatory issues and competitive marketplace to develop and deliver value added business solutions.
Evaluate and recommend software packages and 3rd party enterprise applications for purchase and deployment and direct the acquisition, development, and/or integration of technical solutions to ensure they are accomplished in a timely and effective manner.
Responsible for complex vendor negotiations and defining clear SOWs and advantageous contract terms.
Oversee and assists with the definition of business requirements (Business Process Mapping, benefit analysis, etc.) and IT solutions, and ensure they remain consistent with the long-term corporate Application Portfolio direction.
Lead a group of management in initiating human resource planning, selection and resource allocation activities for the Enterprise Applications division.
Handle and oversees administrative matters concerning Enterprise Applications operations and functions.
Responsible for monitoring and controlling budget performance and taking action to implement cost saving strategies where available.
Oversee internal and external systems/application/process development projects, as assigned, from inception through successful implementation.
Act as a business relationship manager among stakeholders to provide project definition, process leadership, timeframe, cost, delivery, issue resolution, risk mitigation and status communication.
Create strong partnerships with various management teams across Franciscan and be a thought partner on concepts that will lead to project inceptions forming a portfolio of potential projects for prioritization by the business.
Work directly with clients to identify and solve application-related business problems.
