Job Overview:
Sci-Tek Consultants, Inc., a civil, environmental, and geotechnical engineering, and surveying firm is seeking a Sr. Civil Engineer with 10+ years of experience. The successful candidate will be expected to plan, manage, and deliver designs; assist with preparation of contract bids and contract negotiations; prepare and track project budgets and schedules; develop status reports; interface with clients, owners, and regulatory agencies; and ensure quality standards are met. Experience with grading design, utility coordination and design, stormwater analysis and design, erosion and sedimentation design, permitting, and report writing is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare engineering designs, calculations, and specifications using software such as Civil 3D, and AutoCAD.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project success.
- Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and standards.
- track project budgets, schedules and develop status reports
- Prepare project proposals, budgets, and timelines.
- Provide technical support and expertise to clients and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. - Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and techniques.
- Proficiency in software such as Civil 3D, AutoCAD for design and analysis purposes.
- Experience with leading technical staff and managing multiple projects, setting priorities, and meeting established budgets and schedules.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex engineering problems and develop effective solutions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
