POSITION SUMMARY
Oversee supply chain management planning and processes including but not limited to forecasting production volume, inventory levels, delivery times, and service level evaluations in collaboration with suppliers, manufacturers, and production plant staff.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Oversee the company’s planning and structuring of the logistics operation for Sigma Hispanic Brands’ network using internal techniques and procedures.
- Implement specialized optimum systems for the supply chain from plants to CADIS to CEDIS in order to accomplish the service level and inventory objectives.
- Lead the programming, coordination, and inventory control of plant production (including co-packers) and suppliers in order to satisfy the needs of CADIS and CEDIS using Sigma policies and procedures.
- Facilitate internal communications and updates between Sigma Production, Hispanic Brands, and Sales departments; Present the results and accomplishments of the supply chain goals for the Company.
- Maintains SAP information and manage the reporting of sales, production, service level, and coverage and inventory control.
- Participate in the SAP Project Fusion and serve as a resource for successful implementation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 4 years logistics management experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Accounting
- Extensive overall logistics experience.
- Previous experience with the materials, planning and production modules of SAP
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES (KSA’s)
- Ability to understand complex technical information and business terms
- Demonstrated ability to communicate across all levels of the organization, present complex ideas concisely and clearly articulate ideas verbally and in writing
- Must possess strong analytical troubleshooting and problem resolution/solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines through sound project management, prioritization
- Proficient knowledge of the Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; Intermediate to advanced Excel skills with proficiency with Data Analysis, Pivot tables, and complex graphs
- Ability to build professional relationships with external and internal cross functional teams while facilitating a collaborative environment
- Must be a self-motivated and confident individual, who holds themselves and the team accountable
ENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONS
- Ability to work in an environmentally controlled office and overnight travel up to 20% of the time, including overnight stays for up to 5 days at a time.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Usual plant environment with frequent sitting, walking, and standing, and occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing. Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of machinery and equipment. Oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices such as the telephone. The noise level in the work environment ranges from normal office levels to loud levels due to equipment and machinery use.
