BHAVIORAL CORPORATION is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, particularly with a focus on applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy. This position involves providing one-on-one behavior therapy to a 5-year-old boy, promoting skill development and behavior modification in accordance with the individualized treatment plan.
Responsibilities:
Implement behavior intervention strategies outlined in the client's treatment plan under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Provide direct one-on-one ABA therapy to the 5-year-old client in various settings (e.g., home, community).
Collect and record data on client's progress and behavior throughout each session.
Collaborate with the BCBA to develop and modify treatment plans as needed.
Assist in training and coaching parents or caregivers on implementing behavior support strategies.
Maintain open communication with the interdisciplinary team, including the BCBA, parents, teachers, and other professionals involved in the client's care.
Attend regular team meetings and participate in ongoing professional development.
Requirements:
Must hold a current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
Minimum of 1 year experience as an RBT, with a proven track record of success in implementing ABA therapy.
Proficient in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various locations for sessions.
Flexibility to work during after-school hours or weekends as needed.
