Position: Director of Analytics
Reports to: Chief Business Officer (CBO)
Location: Remote
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $120,000-$180,000/Annually
Overview
As the Director of Analytics at Lightology, you will spearhead our analytics department, enhancing our business intelligence (BI) and artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. You will lead efforts in data infrastructure and provide strategic insights that drive our business objectives.
Responsibilities

Oversee the analytics team, setting strategic direction and fostering a data-driven culture.

Design and execute an analytics framework that aligns with business goals.

Synthesize data from multiple sources to identify trends and inform strategy.

Partner with various teams to establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), creating accessible dashboards and reports.

Offer strategic recommendations to leadership based on insightful data analysis.

Stay ahead of analytics trends and integrate advanced tools and methodologies to enhance data handling and decision-making processes.

Champion data governance and integrity across all platforms.

Communicate complex data concepts in a clear manner to stakeholders at all levels.

Drive initiatives to optimize data for AI applications and predictive modeling.
Requirements:
- 2+ years in analytics leadership, particularly in environments utilizing cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS) and data processing engines.

Proficiency with Power BI, SQL, Python; familiarity with Databricks, Spark, and PySpark is a plus.

Experience with QlikSense is preferred.

Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects with meticulous attention to detail.
Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Analytics, Statistics, or related field.
