```Duties```
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menus
- Ensure all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner, following food safety guidelines
- Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and execute menu items
- Assist with menu planning and development, taking into consideration dietary restrictions and preferences
- Coordinate with the dietary department to ensure meals meet specific nutritional requirements
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any needs or shortages to the appropriate personnel
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following proper sanitation procedures
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations in the food industry
```Experience```
- Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role within the food industry
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary principles
- Familiarity with menu planning and catering for large groups is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
