Mile High Classics, LTD is seeking an automotive body technician with paint prep experience. We are one of the most reputable restoration facilities in the Rocky Mountain Region. We offer all types of automotive restoration services, and as we grow, we are currently looking to expand our team.
This job primarily requires properly applying body filler, block sanding, panel matching, disassembly, and assembly of classic cars, working with other body techs and the painter to prepare vehicles for paint. We work primarily on classic American cars and trucks, emphasizing high-quality paint jobs, custom interiors, performance and drivability modifications.
Requirements
- Experience filling and block sanding panels
- Removal of old paint or body filler
- Removing and replacing body panels and body accessories
- Experience in body panel alignment
- Adjustment of body panels and doors for a consistent panel gap
- Attention to detail
- Basic mechanical knowledge
- Automotive knowledge of parts and accessories
Benefits
- Health insurance
- Paid vacation, Holiday, and Sick
Feel free to call us if you want a change from the regular body shop grind. We have a great facility and team; building show cars is also extremely rewarding. While bodywork on classic cars can be challenging, it is one of the most critical stages of the entire process. If you are not passionate about classic cars, this job is probably not for you. However, please send a resume for consideration.
Thank you,
Noah Stevens
