Goodwill Industries of Kentucky is looking for a high energy, positive attitude, team-minded ADC Lead Attendant to join our team! The ADC Lead Attendant will support the daily operations of the Attended Donation Center. They will provide leadership to ADC staff, constantly striving to improve ADC processes and performing tasks as needed to ensure ADC goals are met and exceeded. They will maintain positive donor relations by greeting people donating merchandise and represent the agency to the public in a positive way by their actions and friendliness. Essential Duties and Tasks:
- Displays leadership by partnering with Manager, Transportation Operations to train new staff, coach, and support staff to achieve the site’s financial, customer, and employee metrics.
- Creates an environment that drives positive relationships with customers and employees to successfully implement Goodwill’s mission services and enhance site’s profitability.
- Ensures the ADC is open each day and keeps a regular schedule. Ensures ADC is secure at the end of each day. (Key holder)
- Complies with established Goodwill policies and procedures and collaboratively works with all cross-functional departments including finance, human resources, IT, risk management, properties & facilities, retail, safety & security, and compliance to achieve desired site results.
- Tracks supplies and communicates ordering needs to Manager, Transportation Operations. Responsible to secure and appropriately use those supplies.
- Trains employees through clear communication on job tasks with redirecting employees regarding projects with clear feedback.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED, preferred.
- At least two (2) years of supervisory experience preferred.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
Physical Demands:
- This job may have physical requirements that are considered sedentary work. Sedentary work involves sitting for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
