Job Summary
The Assistant Warehouse Manager is responsible for helping oversee and coordination of all operations of the Warehouse. Duties include arranging the day-to-day logistic shipping of outgoing products along with documentation needed in systems for those shipments. Overseeing all aspects of safety at the location. Assisting with the staff training process, building rapport with dealers and the community, creating, and implementing strategies to improve productivity and sales performance in efforts to achieve the financial targets of the branch.
General Accountabilities
- Assist in managing employees and leading day-to-day responsibilities
- Assist with recruiting and interviewing new employees
- Assist with customer service to ensure overall customer satisfaction
- Facilitates all Logistic activities for outgoing product.
- Acts as on site safety coordinator for Warehouse .
- Helps with reports for budgets and financials
- Work to grow business and dealer support
- Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources
- Supervise employees and delegate effectively through key positions
- Monitor cost of all expenses and seek opportunity to reduce costs through but not limited to labor, inventory and accounts receivables
- Ensure professional warehouse appearance and function while maintaining and safeguarding company’s confidential information
