Performs complex (journey-level) social services work in support of CAPCOG’s CAPABLE Program. The CAPABLE Program (Community Aging in Place – Advancing Better Living for Elders) is an evidenced-based intervention program funded by the St. David’s Foundation to deliver services to older individuals in Bastrop, Caldwell, Hays, and Williamson Counties. Work involves serving as a liaison between clients, occupational therapists (OTs), registered nurses (RNs), home repair specialists, and an adaptive device vendor to assist seniors in being able to remain in their homes. Works under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
A bachelor’s degree from a four-year university or college with a major in social work may substitute for the required two years of experience.

A minimum of two years of experience working in social services is required.
