- Trains & Supervises five Case Workers
- Reviews Case Workers case notes, psychosocials, etc.
- Under the general direction of the Assistant Director, develops service plans for clients and provides guidance to Case Workers in implementing these plans to ensure court orders are adhered to.
- Assists the Assistant Director and Program Director in developing and maintaining relationships with other programs and agencies providing services to Community Guardian clients.
- Visits clients in the field along side Case Workers and/or carries a caseload in the absence of a Case Worker in the department, or when cases require more complex interventions.
- Attends court hearings as requested.
- Provides a monthly statistical report of clients visited, etc. by the staff that they supervise to the Assistant Director
- Participates in regular team and staff meetings to coordinate client care.
- On call on rotation for client emergencies/crisis intervention
- Perform all tasks requested by the Assistant Director, Program Director and Director of Programs to support the team functioning of New York Foundation for Senior Citizens Guardian Services, Inc.
