Director of Housekeeping Responsibilities
The director handles all staffing needs within the department, from scheduling interviews to hiring and firing employees. They will need to have the ability to stay organized and thorough throughout this process.
An extreme attention to detail is required as you are the person expected to keep the quality of our rooms at both our hotels as high as possible.
You will need to create and maintain a schedule and spreadsheet for up to and exceeding 30 employees.
Must have the ability to order weekly, monthly, and yearly inventory for the housekeeping department. As well as be able to code invoices associated with their orders.
Professionalism and respect while handling all problem solving and disciplinary actions within their department is required.
Communication is very important and working with other departments to the best of their ability is a must. Teamwork between the departments is required.
Basic computer skills are a must as we use programs for everything from our scheduling to housekeeping room lists, or our many spreadsheets we use.
We require the ability to jump into any role within the department, whether it's cleaning rooms, doing laundry or just helping your team.
Must have the ability to coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly meetings with your team.
Quick learning and adaptability, especially in these times are required to keep the department running smoothly.

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
