Job Title: Lead Database Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Lead Database Engineer to spearhead modernizing our data warehousing and integration projects. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing and maintaining precise and up-to-date data models and developing efficient integration workflows and ELT jobs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain accurate and timely data models to meet business needs.
- Develop and maintain extensible integration workflows and ELT jobs connecting internal business applications.
- Collaborate with application development teams to ensure data integrity in integrations.
- Participate in the gathering and refinement of project requirements with product managers and business stakeholders.
- Oversee project deployments and provide post-release production support.
- Recommend and implement practices to improve quality and productivity.
- Review and approve changes to models and code.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Evaluate and implement frameworks, technology, platforms, and tooling solutions.
Must have experience with both Microsoft SQL (SSIS, SSRS) and Snowflake, AWS Redshift experience
Must be able to come on-site in Dublin, OH
Minimum Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in data systems, with expertise in highly available, scalable environments.
- 7+ years of experience with MS SQL, SSIS, and SSRS, focusing on database design, implementation, and optimization.
- 3+ years of experience with other SQL Dialects, such as Postgres.
- 3+ years of experience in writing data pipelines and tools using Python or similar languages.
- Hands-on experience with iPaaS Solutions like Dell Boomi, Adeptia, Jitterbit.
- Proficiency in integrating with relational databases, HTTP APIs, File Systems, and SaaS solutions.
- Experience with data warehousing solutions like Redshift, Snowflake, or Big Query.
- Proficiency with AWS or other cloud hosting platforms.
- Strong skills in a major programming language and API framework.
- Problem-solving and organizational skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
