Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise front desk staff to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
- Oversee appointment scheduling, check-in, and check-out processes to optimize patient flow.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
- Handle patient inquiries, resolve issues, and escalate concerns as needed.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Collaborate with medical and administrative staff to coordinate patient care effectively.
- Utilize software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for patient management tasks.
- Train front desk staff on office procedures, software usage, and customer service best practices.
Skills:
- Proven experience in a dental office, medical office, or urgent care setting.
- Familiarity with medical receptionist duties and patient service principles.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency in using software systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Leadership qualities to supervise a team of front desk staff members.
