Kids First Early Intervention is seeking per-diem Special Education Teachers and Social Workers to provide direct services to children birth to 3-years-old, through NYC’s Early Intervention Program.

Qualifications and Skills
Candidates for Early Intervention Special Education Teachers Birth- 2nd grade position must be certified in any of the following areas:
- Special Education Teachers, Birth through 2nd grade- Initial or permanent
- Social Worker (LMSW) or (LCSW)
- Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped (TSHH)- Provisional or Permanent
- Teacher for Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD)- Initial or Professional
Responsibilities and Duties
Responsibilities and Duties of Early Intervention Special Education Teachers Birth - 2nd grade:
- Provide 1:1 instruction consistent with best practice in ABA therapy
- Daily data collection
- Implement behavior intervention plans
- Collaboration with parents and other Early Intervention providers

Pay: $50.00 - $75.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 40 per week
