Position Overview:
The Senior Quality Engineer at IMH Products is entrusted with overseeing the strategic direction and implementation of quality control measures in alignment with ISO standards. This involves supervising the Quality Team, ensuring that they perform inspections, audits, and quality tests to identify defects and areas for improvement while adhering to ISO guidelines. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance manufacturing processes, reduce defects, and deliver superior products while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and compliance, ensuring the company's reputation for excellence in quality and ISO compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee the quality management system, ensuring that our products and services meet both external and internal requirements, and meet customer expectations
· Responsible for the overall assessment and improvement of the people, capabilities, processes, and tools that are critical to the quality management system
· Ensure development and adherence to ISO 9000 standards, selecting and prioritizing continuous improvement projects based on business needs
· Lead the resolution and follow-up of quality issues with internal and external customers and suppliers
· Assess product quality, establish and maintain quality assurance standards, procedures, and controls, utilizing ERP as the standard tool in order to manage manufacturing processes and perform quality traceability
· Utilize manufacturing process auditing and quality assessment knowledge to lead assessments focused on processes critical to customer and business success
· Handle PAPP (Production Part Approval Process) paperwork, ensuring all production parts meet required specifications and quality standards
· Work closely with the production team to identify potential quality issues and implement corrective actions
· Mentor quality team and assess team developmental needs and provide opportunities as they relate to the needs of the business
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality Engineering role in the manufacturing industry, preferably with metal fabricator experience
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Quality Control, Quality Assurance, ISO 9000, CMM, PAPP paperwork, Control Plans, Flow Charts, and APQP.
- Strong understanding of quality control standards and methodologies.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and direct a team.

· Physical lifting and movement: Ability to walk or stand 8 hours a day. Ability to lift, push, pull or move 50 pounds. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend, or reach above the shoulders.
