Clinical Supervisor
Cornerstone Project has an immediate opportunity for a clinical supervisor to oversee and develop programming and provide supervision and leadership to counseling staff.
This position assists in providing consultation and leadership in accordance with Cornerstone Project clinical philosophy. Implements policies, clinical philosophy and strategy and provides leadership and management to staff.
Responsibilities
- Provides leadership, direction and consultation to counselors.
- Collaborates with clinical leadership.
- Oversees group programming.
- Works with staff to develop skills and provides training opportunities.
- Conducts individual and group therapy, completes required documentation.
- Develops and implements programs with evidence-based practices.
- Maintains solid working relationships internally and externally.
- Reviews and signs off on assessments and diagnostic services.
- Consults with staff on clinical cases and group session situations.
- Leads peer review and competency evaluations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Professional license at the LICDC, LISW-S or LPCC-S level.
- Ability and comfort with consulting on clinical issues.
- Ability to apply a trauma-informed approach.
- Experience approving treatment plans, diagnosis and session notes.
- Experience managing staff, providing feedback and assisting with issue resolution
- Five to seven years clinical and leadership experience
- Ability and comfort with consulting on clinical issues.
- Experience approving treatment plans, diagnosis and session notes.

- Experience developing and implementing new programming
- Must be knowledgeable of applicable laws and regulations governing treatment facilities including, but not limited to, HIPAA and Title 42, Part 2
Skills/Experience/Education
Prefer masters plus experience in drug and alcohol counseling, social work, mental health and a LICDC, LPCC or LISW preferred. Must have prior supervisory experience and excellent oral and written communications skills.
