Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney to join our amazing legal team. The ideal candidate will have experience in negotiations and litigation. We are looking for valued Associates who will live the Lebron Law Way, which includes providing a “wow” experience for clients - a customer service experience that exceeds their expectations. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research on various topics within the scope of law
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Assist in case preparation and management
- Represent clients in court hearings and negotiations
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases
Experience:
The successful candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in the state of Florida
- Experience working in a law office setting
- Strong knowledge of the Florida Rules of Evidence
- Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw or Lexis
- Ability to negotiate effectively and draft legal documents with precision
- Familiarity with negotiating settlements
- Excellent writing skills for legal documentation
