Job Title: Kitchen Cook
Reports To: General Manager/Assistant General Manager

Training Rate: $17.00/hour
Hourly Range: $18.00-$22.00
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Daily prep of both hot and cold items for our deli, such as prepacked salads, breakfast burritos, house-made salsa, guacamole, and pizzas.
- Baking off and packaging of pastry items and pies brought in from vendors.
- Cleaning and maintaining a sanitary work environment that will include sweeping, mopping, and doing dishes on a daily basis.
- Must be comfortable cooking off meats, such as tri-tip, pork loin, bacon, and chicken for sandwiches at our busy deli counter.
- Cooks breakfast foods, including eggs, bacon, and sausage, assembles breakfast burritos.
- Wraps unused items and stores them in proper areas at the end of a shift and shuts off all equipment at the station.
- Prepares all deli items according to established par-levels including meats, cheeses, and sandwich ingredients; must meet daily deadlines for production.
- Assists in other duties as assigned.

- Has knowledge of standard cooking and prepping technique.
- Ability to follow recipes, work as a self-starter, and follow direction.
- This person must be accommodating to all customer requests, adaptable, and hard working.
- Perform calmly under pressure.
- Uses critical thinking and reasoning skills to solve problems quickly.
- Serve-Safe certified preferred.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
