Full-Time - Marketing Lead (Graphic Design, Branding + Promotions)
Responsible for management and implementation of promotions, events and special projects including event coordination and design of assets and brand collateral.
Type of position: Permanent, Full-Time (35 to 40 hours/week), in office

PM Music Center a band and orchestra instrument dealer in Aurora, IL, a suburb of Chicago. Our mission is to be “Chicagoland’s go-to resource for music educators, music students and musicians.” PM Music Center focuses on the educational marketplace, but we also have a large retail store and lesson studio. We offer an informal, collegial and supportive work environment.
We are looking for a promotions and brand professional:
- With three plus years’ experience in design, marketing communications and promotions management and execution.
- With excellent graphic design, copywriting and project management skills
- With experience planning and executing events, seminars and/or similar activities
- Who can multi-task and has excellent time management, communication and organizational skills
- Who is detail-oriented and meets deadlines and budgets
- Who can develop and track metrics and budgets for marketing and events
- Who believes in music education, played in his or her school band or orchestra or has a child, relative or close associate who played in their school band or orchestra
- Who is reliable, flexible, accountable and friendly; a team player who works well supporting executive and sales leadership

Responsibilities include:
- Graphic Design: Concept and design of all digital and print assets including but not limited to marketing communications, social media campaigns, event promotion, in-store signage, website imagery, price sheet, press kit, brochures, sales materials, coupons and product sheets
- Sales, Events + Promotion Management: Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing all in-store, school or e-commerce sales, events and promotions
- Copywriting: Provide marketing copy for campaigns, collateral and the website
- Email Marketing: Concept, design, create, distribute and monitor e-marketing campaigns designed to increase awareness and drive lead generation
- Swag: Source, budget, design and order all branded materials such as mugs, stationery, bags and manage promotional product inventory and orders
- Print: Manage all print needs
- Public relations: Work with trade publications and school and community fundraisers
- School Relationships: Coordinate with music educators and school contacts to provide helpful tools and fulfill donation requests
- Analytics: Track and analyze social media and email marketing data to inform future marketing efforts
- Budget: Track marketing and promotions budget
