Sparx Support Services offers a variety of paraprofessional services and Special Education Teacher Support Services, “SETTS” for children in New York City. Our team of experienced professionals provides comprehensive academic support and guidance on social and emotional development. Working closely with the child's school, family, and other service providers, we prioritize a collaborative approach to support, tailored to the unique needs of students.
We are seeking a motivated and mission-driven individual to join our team as a Partnership Development Specialist. In this role, you would be responsible for building and maintaining partnerships with community programs, educational centers, and institutions and offer our SETTS services to parents and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will excel in relationship-building, sales, and communication to ensure the successful retention of services for parents/students and facilitate positive outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute a strategic plan to engage community-based educational programs, centers, and institutions as partners.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including program directors, educators, and administrators, to understand the needs and challenges of parents and students.
- Present and promote our SETTS and educational services to partners and parents, emphasizing the benefits and positive outcomes for students.
- Execute partnership agreements and provide ongoing support and assistance to clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to customize service offerings based on partner requirements and student needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, education, or related field. Experience in business development, or partnership management, preferably in the education sector.
- Strong understanding of educational programs, services, and resources available for individuals with learning difficulties.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with stakeholders.
- Passion for making a positive impact in the lives of students and communities.
Work Details:
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9AM to 5PM. Hybrid office. (2 days in office-Brooklyn, 3 days remote)
