The VP of Operations will provide leadership and strategic vision to the organization and is responsible for overseeing day to day operations, policies, and procedures.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
· Drive company results from both an operational and a financial perspective working closely with the President and Finance Manager
· Create effective measurement tools to gauge the efficiency and effectiveness of internal and external processes.
· Develop Key Performance Indicators that report on productivity, utilization of resources, and profitability of the field operations.
· Ensure scheduling is done in a consistent manner that leverages and utilizes all resources in the most efficient way.
· Ensure the Fleet maintenance program is managed to keep all equipment in productive condition.
· Ensure Safety culture, processes and measurements are adhered to in-house and on all projects.
· Work with project managers and superintendents to ensure material logistics and processes are efficient to keep all projects performing on time and on budget.
· Engage the team on performance criteria, implement standardized performance reviews, and ensure we have the best team engaged and in the right roles.
· Work with Vendors and Suppliers to handle project opportunities and challenges
· Work with Customers when there are challenges or requests that are operational focused.
· Ensure there is accurate project revenue forecasting as they are scheduled and begin construction through completion.
· Evaluate project job cost variances and review with the project managers to determine how to leverage best practices and engage countermeasures on challenges.
· Set challenging and realistic goals for growth, performance, and profitability.
· Holding team accountable to project budget.
· Assisting with diligence
· Conduct all business in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Experience/Education Requirements
- 5-10+ years management level commercial roofing operational experience
- BA degree in business or related field preferred
Working Conditions, Travel/Schedule expectations and Physical Demands:
· Work is performed indoors and outdoors
· General technology as it relates to office administration
· Regular business hours with additional hours required during certain periods.
Expected Hours of Work/Travel:
Traditional work schedule is M-F, may include occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs. Travel is required including out-of-the-area and overnight will be expected. The amount of travel is 40% - 60%.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $160,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
