Job Title: Construction Project Foreman
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Project Foreman to lead and manage construction projects, overseeing various facets of construction, including framing, drywall, finish carpentry, and painting. The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage subcontractors, conduct quality control inspections, produce and track punch lists for completion, and provide accurate project progress reports to project managers and ownership.
Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
- Oversee and coordinate daily construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Implement and follow construction schedules provided by the project manager.
- Manage and schedule subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and supervise construction crews, subcontractors, and other personnel on-site.
- Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Construction Expertise:
- Possess expertise in various construction disciplines, including framing, drywall, finish carpentry, painting, and general construction.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets established standards.
- Subcontractor Management:
- Manage and schedule subcontractors to ensure their work aligns with project timelines and quality expectations.
- Produce and track accurate punch lists for completion by subcontractors and the internal workforce.
- Communication and Reporting:
- Maintain effective communication with project managers, subcontractors, and construction teams.
- Provide accurate and timely project progress reports to project managers and ownership.
- Report any deviations, delays, or issues promptly and propose solutions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Foreman in the construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of various construction disciplines, project management, and scheduling.
- Ability to read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with construction safety standards and protocols.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Additional certifications or training in construction management or related fields are a plus.
