SUMMARY
The Supervisor monitors and evaluates the performance of construction personnel and may also monitor and supervise subcontractors. The Supervisor will also execute their position responsibilities in accordance with company policies, practices, processes, and applicable laws.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reads and interprets blueprints and project specifications.
- Ensures timely completion of segments of project.
- Ensures that workers have tools, equipment and materials required to complete assigned work.
- Inspects work in progress to ensure conformity with specifications and building codes.
- Reports to assigned job site on time.
- Clearly understands, complies with and enforces the Company and job safety requirements to include, but not limited to: OSHA, Federal and State laws and/or regulations.
- Clearly understands, complies with, and enforces Company policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Responsible for coordinating tasks according to priorities and plans, ability to look ahead and plan the future work.
- Responsible for planning the work and schedule of workforce.
- Accurately report field progress and forecasting for the Labor and Material needs to the Lead Labor Supervisor or Project Manager
- Safely uses and instructs proper use of all hand and power tools and equipment necessary to perform assigned tasks.

- Understanding of and compliance with the work rules of all jurisdictions that company has and will work in.
- Ability to multitask, organize and prioritize work assignments.
- Interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills are necessary to professionally and effectively communicate with employees, clients, vendors and subcontractors.
PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Must have sheet metal/piping/general HVAC experience
- Ability, commitment and desire to “champion” company initiatives, policies and procedures.
- Must be have completed the applicable apprenticeship program;
- Must have experience supervising a team of ten or more, including field supervision or management.
- Must demonstrate career progression and the support of career progression of subordinates.
COMPUTER SKILLS
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook and teams) and Excel applications required for preparing, analyzing and monitoring, reporting and presenting and additional computer skills within Windows operating system environment.
