Job Title: Dental Assistant
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dental team in providing high-quality oral healthcare services to our patients. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and smooth operations within the dental office.
Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following procedures
- Perform infection control procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Manage inventory and supply orders for dental equipment and materials
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role
- Knowledge of dental assisting procedures and terminology
- Familiarity with Eagle soft or similar dental practice management systems
- Ability to take accurate dental X-rays
- Strong understanding of infection control protocols
- Bilingual : English and Spanish
- Excellent communication skills with patients and team members
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in pediatric dentistry
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Proficiency in medical documentation

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 38 per week
