Duties:
- Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures
- Structural analysis and design of Post Tension and Conventionally Reinforced foundations for residential/light commercial construction
- Provide designs, details, and sketches to incorporate with drawings done by architects or drafters
- Candidate will be responsible for collaborating with drafters, architects, engineers, and clients during the design process
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
- 0 – 3 years’ experience in the residential construction industry
- Knowledge of AutoCAD
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to keep up with a fast-paced work environment while staying detail oriented throughout the structural design process
- Coursework and/or experience in concrete design and structural wood design
- Experience using PTISlab 3.5 design software
- Familiarity reading residential architectural plans
