Position Overview:
The Part-time Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing outreach strategies to promote programs and services. This role includes engaging with community members, building relationships with local organizations, coordinating outreach events and activities, and managing
our social media presence. The ideal candidate will be passionate about community engagement, possess excellent communication and organizational skills, and have experience in social media management.
Key Responsibilities:
· Community Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations, local businesses, and other stakeholders to promote AICA’s mission and services.
· Outreach Activities: Plan, coordinate, and participate in outreach events, workshops, and community meetings to raise awareness about programs.
· Communications: Create and distribute promotional materials, including flyers, newsletters, and social media content. Ensure consistent and effective messaging across all outreach channels.
· Social Media Management: Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies to engage with the community and promote activities. Create content, monitor social media platforms, and respond to comments and messages.
· Volunteer Coordination: Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to support outreach activities and events.
· Program Promotion: Work closely with program staff to understand and promote specific programs and services. Identify opportunities to connect community needs with available resources.
· Data Management: Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, including contact information, event attendance, and follow-up actions. Prepare regular reports on outreach efforts and outcomes.
· Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from community members and partners to assess the effectiveness of outreach strategies and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
· Demonstrated experience in community outreach, fundraising, or development, preferably within a nonprofit organization.
· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with donors, partners, and the community.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time management skills.
· Knowledge of Native American cultures, communities, and issues preferred.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, social media platforms, and donor management software.

Pay: $42,000.00 - $44,500.00 per year
