As a progressive financial institution, we are seeking a dynamic individual to fulfill the role of Junior Mortgage Loan Processor for our Emerald Street Administrative Office in Boise or our Mountain Home Administrative Office.
The Junior Mortgage Processor is responsible for assisting all Mortgage Processors in preparing files for loan underwriting including but not limited to ordering verifications, property appraisals, credit reports, title reports, hazard insurance and flood certifications at the appropriate loan stages. This position will not maintain a pipeline but will be responsible for assisting all fellow processors with their pipeline.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Assists all Mortgage Processors in preparing files for loan underwriting including but not limited to ordering verifications, property appraisals, credit reports, title reports, hazard insurance and flood certifications at the appropriate loan stages.
- Responsible for assisting fellow processors with their pipeline.
- Ensures orders are received back in a timely manner, and compliant with all state and federal regulations, as well as Credit Union policies, procedures and guidelines.
Experience: One month to twelve months of similar or related experience.
Education: A high school education or GED.
Interpersonal Skills: Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation.
Other Skills: Problems encountered are somewhat complex, requiring analysis of data; weighing the outcomes of a decision.
Physical Requirements: Very light physical effort. Typical of most office jobs. Work in comfortable positions.
Work Environment: Normal light, heat, air, and space in work environment
