The Patient Care Coordinator is a role on our team at Cape Integrative Health which provides administrative support to a busy healthcare practice that includes chiropractic, primary care, physical therapy, acupuncture and soon, walk in acute care.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Review and coordinate appointment requests to the appropriate services, and provider
Verify patient demographic and insurance data
Patient registration in Electronic Medical Records software
Notifying patients of co-pay, deductibles and outstanding balances
Collect and review patient paperwork for completion
Review patient insurance coverage with them
Greeting patients in a friendly manner and building strong professional relationships with them
Maintaining schedule and patient flow within the office
Maintain patient files abiding by HIPPA regulations
Familiarity with Mac Computers and software
Organizational skills with an attention to details
Reliably commute to Cape Elizabeth, Me
Preferably 2 years medical office experience
