Summary:
Commercial Capital Company is a family-owned and operated finance company located in Lenexa, KS. We are looking for a Director of Technology to oversee mission-critical applications, develop innovative IT solutions, review and modify our IT Infrastructure as needed, and manage information systems. This role will be heavily involved in developing and implementing Salesforce Financial Force and Office 365 processes and systems, fostering strong partnerships with other departments, and enhancing current systems.
This role requires an in-office presence.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Lead the Technology department's operational and strategic planning, including fostering innovation, planning projects, and organizing and negotiating the allocation of resources.
- Salesforce visionary to be able to make suggestions for process improvements to be executed on by our vendors.
- Standardization of Company systems ( i.e: Office 365 vs G-Suite).
- Build out the technology infrastructure by determining the best course of action to fill gaps with technology the support business needs.
- Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all technology systems, including telecommunications, servers, PCs, operating systems, hardware, software, peripherals, and custom applications.
- Develop and implement all Technology policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provisions.
- Manage financial aspects of the Technology department, including purchasing, budgeting, and budget review.
- Collaborate with CEO/COO and sales teams to design a technical architecture roadmap aligned with strategic business requirements.
- Create and manage departmental initiatives.
- Inventory management of in-house and remote hardware.
- Manage procurement of new technologies and services.
- Conduct security reviews and participate in cyber-incident response activities.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration across departments.
- Identify and address training needs for staff.
- Creation and implementation of a 1,3, and 5 year plan.
- Hire, train, and develop direct reports to ensure they are aligned with Company values and objectives.
- Monitor resources and priorities to ensure they are positioned to meet the needs of the business.
- Provide real time feedback and coaching, conducts quarterly performance reviews and year-end annual reviews.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Must have excellent management and leadership skills: people, process, and technology.
- Technically proficient in all Technology disciplines.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Must have strong Accounting & Finance business process knowledge to facilitate conversations about best practices and solutions.
- Strong understanding of the Salesforce Financial Force and Office 365 platforms and effective integration to upstream and downstream systems across all core processes.
- Must have strong experience in up-to-date security measures and practices.
- Proficient in the latest technology for Technology systems and management.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, or related field; master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a technology department.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- 5 or more years of experience in IT, Planning or strategy, data management, data analytics, operations and/or IT related experience.
- At least 1-2 years of supervisory experience desired.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
