As an Assistant Manager, you will oversee various operational aspects, including Amazon FBM orders, packing machine operations, employee monitoring, and general warehouse support. This role demands strong organizational skills and effective multitasking abilities.
Responsibilities:
FBM (Amazon Direct to Consumer)
- Oversee and pack FBM orders.
- Create and upload shipping labels and tracking information to Amazon.
- Track and order necessary FBM supplies.
Packing Machine
- Ensure the packing machine operates smoothly and efficiently.
- Maximize the packing machine's utilization.
- Ensure machine operators and labelers are at their positions at all times.
Monitor Employees
- Review weekly employee hours.
- Track missed, sick, and late days.
- Monitor and enforce scheduled lunch breaks.
- Ensure employees clock in/out for breaks and adhere to break times.
- Review employee work logs to ensure acceptable daily product output.
Amazon Miscellaneous
- Review and address negative customer product reviews.
- Monitor products with increasing negative reviews.
- Track FBA shipments, ensuring timely arrivals and monitoring for issues (lost, delayed, customs).
- Assist warehouse managers and fill in for absent employees as needed.
- Help managers with assigned tasks.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience in a supervisory or managerial role preferred.
