Job Summary:
PTA will perform treatment/follow up visits once PT creates plan of care for clients. Clients will be all over the Houston Metroplex area (Including but not limited to: Downtown Houston, Katy, Spring, Cypress, Pearland, Sugar Land, Webster, ETC). PTA will be able to choose which clients they add onto their treatment list (No minimum amount and you get to choose your own schedule). PTA will be paid per visit and bonuses can be added depending on the distance of the client's home. Training will be included after the interview process. We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
Responsibilities:
- Implement treatment plans developed by the physical therapist
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities
- Monitor and document patient progress
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Experience:
- Experience or knowledge in geriatrics
- Strong understanding of physiology and anatomy
- Familiarity with acute care settings
- Previous experience in hospital or occupational health environments
- Exposure to inpatient care and hospital medicine
- Proficiency in medical terminology
- Knowledge of trigger point therapy
