Clinicians will be required to complete a daily note by the end of every session following The Autism Therapy Group daily note template.
Trainings/Support of R/BTs
The RBT Trainer will train and support R/BTs across all clients in their assigned localized region.
When conducting training/support sessions, the RBT Trainer will focus on training the R/BT on the ATG shadow checklist, in addition to client specific skills that include but are not limited to skill acquisition targets, behavior intervention plans, data collection methods, and reinforcement systems.
This may be with a client that the RBT Trainer is not assigned to on their direct caseload so this will require the RBT Trainer to be able read programming in CR and complete to fidelity without direct training.
RBT Trainer performance will be reviewed on an ongoing basis by the case supervisor using the RBT Trainer evaluation form.
Should there not be training needs, RBT trainers may be pulled into coverage sessions.
Redirecting R/BT Questions/Concerns
When conducting training sessions, the R/BT trainee may have questions that the RBT Trainer is not able to answer. The RBT Trainer will redirect those questions to the assigned BCBA by the end of the day..
Additionally, the RBT Trainer will redirect red flags and/or other concerns observed to the assigned BCBA by the end of the day.
Supervision by a BCBA
RBT Trainer will work across multiple BCBAs but will be assigned a direct supervisor that will be responsible for providing a quality experience by providing clinical support and fostering professional growth.
Mentorship
RBT Trainer will be assigned a mentor (the same BCBA as your clinical supervisor) that will be responsible for meeting with you on monthly basis to discuss your caseload, schedule, work-life balance, professional development, and career goals.
Commit to client schedule
Please submit time off requests two weeks in advance, utilizing our current cancellation policy. This includes any requests for time off that are within your availability but are not currently filled with a direct session. This ensures your assigned supervisor does not schedule you for a training that you will be unable to complete. The scheduling team will look into potential make up sessions for the client.
Cancellations and inconsistent attendance will disrupt clients’ treatment. It can potentially delay an R/BT’s training as well. It is imperative to commit to the availability you’ve provided so you can be scheduled in accordance with training needs.
Maintain RBT credential via BACB
Maintaining your RBT credential is your responsibility to get forms signed and keep track of expiration dates. ATG will reimburse all renewal fees.
CentralReach
Your assigned supervisor will input your training sessions into CR.
The RBT Trainer is expected to convert all sessions in CentralReach by the end of session.
When the RBT Trainer is conducting a training session, they are required to complete necessary forms as instructed by the BCBA, I.e., shadow checklist, competency assessment, therapist evaluation form etc.
