TWO more positions have opened for fully-remote sales rep for Merger & Acquisition firm based in CT. Are you interested in getting into the M&A sales business? Seeking a highly-motivated and self-starting salesperson to help sell businesses. Ideally should be located in CT, NY or NJ as that is where many of our listings are.
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
- Represent small and mid size business owner's who want to sell their businesses so they can retire or move on to new opportunities. You'll mostly be working with business owners in CT, NY, NJ and rest of the North East.
- We will provide you with interested buyer leads. Respond to the buyer's inquiries, answer questions they have about the business (and get answers from the seller if you don't know the answer).
- Most work is done over phone calls and email but many times we will meet with business owners, tour their facilities, bring prospective buyers for showings, etc.
- Ideally looking for someone who is close to Shelton, CT to be able to meet when needed for quick sales status meets.
COMPENSATION:
This is commission based only. Successful business brokers typically make well over $250k per year within 2 years. The average closed listing NETS the broker $120,000 PER SALE with an average of 2 - 5 closings per year.
The first listing(s) will be provided to you. THESE ARE NOT JUST LEADS.. THESE ARE BUSINESS OWNERS WHO HAVE ALREADY SIGNED A LISTING AGREEMENT FOR US TO SELL THEIR BUSINESS. This is very rare - We've never heard of any other brokerage business who will provide this to get you started FAST.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have EXCELLENT communication skills and VERY outgoing.
- Must be comfortable speaking with business owners and business buyers over the phone and in-person.
- Must be VERY interested in all aspects of businesses and have TOP NOTCH organizational skills.
- Familiarity with basic financials (P&Ls, Balance Sheets, Income Statements, etc.) a plus but not necessary.
- Must be diligent and able to work with business sellers to prepare their businesses for sale based on clear and helpful support & guidance which we will give you every step of the way.
