MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH LOW VOLTAGE VOICE/DATA CABLING - NO EXCEPTIONS
Ideal candidate will be responsible for the management and ongoing training of all field personnel
SAFETY & TRAINING RESPONSIBLITIES
- Oversee company-approved onboarding orientation, technical training, and safety programs
- Ongoing development of field personnel
- Train field personnel to demonstrate a thorough understanding of company-specific safety policies
- Train field personnel to demonstrate a thorough understanding of jobsite specific safety policies
- Ensure all field personnel are equipped with the necessary PPE
- Ensure all field personnel are properly trained and credentialed with manufacturer-specific certifications
- Track all BICSI and manufacturer-specific certifications, including all expiration dates and requirements for maintaining or renewing.
MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interviewing potential candidates
- Making hiring decisions
- Regular performance evaluations
- Addressing complaints and resolving problems
- Career development paths
- Disciplinary action up to and including personnel terminations
- Review completed Project Recaps and participate in Lessons Learned Recaps
- Work closely with Foremen and PM’s to clearly delineate responsibilities required for each customer/project
- Hold all field personnel accountable for the proper use of WorkMax
You will also be the back up to our Field Service Coordinator (Scheduler)
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.
- Two to three years supervisory/management experience, telecommunications environment preferred.
- 2+ Years Field Experience
- BICSI Technician Certs Preferred
- Must have overall working knowledge of telecommunications voice and data systems, voice and data cabling and cabling infrastructure.
- Must have experience installing, troubleshooting and testing unshielded and shielded twisted pair cabling.
- Must be trained and certified in the SCS manufacturers’ practices and installation guidelines.
- TIA/EIA Standards knowledge
- NEC, NFPA, Federal, State, and Local Building Code knowledge
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external organizations, groups, team members and individuals.

Pay: $70,000.00 per year
