Family-owned and operated El Cerrito Honda is hiring for a General Office Clerk with experience in the automotive industry to work in our Business Office.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Balance the Daily Deposits (cash, checks, and credit cards)
· Post accounts payable invoices
· Post wholesale and forward titles for payment
· Stock in Used Vehicles
· Prepare billing and payments for FasTrak tickets
· Research and resolve payment discrepancies
· Assist with month-end closings
· Assist in maintaining clean accounting schedules
· General accounting functions and other duties as assigned
Qualifications
· Automotive Business Office experience
· Reliable and punctual with strong work ethic
· Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
· Excellent communication and customer service skills
· Ability to multi-task and problem solve
· Organized with keen attention to detail
· Strong computer and phone skills
· Proficient in using the 10-key calculator
· Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screening and background check
The General Office Clerk Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $22.00 and $25.00.
