Job Description
Operate subsea equipment and perform maintenance onshore and offshore. Subsea equipment types range from electro-hydraulic ROV tools, Light Well Intervention Systems, Pipeline Intervention Systems, commissioning hardware and more.
Travel to and from, and work in an offshore or offsite environment for up to 30 days at a time. Offshore and offsite work is scheduled on an as-needed basis and is not a set rotational schedule.
Maintain and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems and their associated subsystems. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment to determine fault and provide resolution to maintain project uptime.
Participate as needed with new product assembly and testing activities in the workshop according to assembly drawings, hydraulic and electrical schematics, work instructions, and test procedures.
Work with project teams to develop concepts into real world service equipment utilizing hands-on experience to drive equipment optimization for service and operational reliability. Interface equipment and project specific hardware onto a vessel/facility and work with ROV to aid in effectively and safely completing offshore projects. Work in a respectful and professional manner with fellow employees, management, and clients.

Technical Responsibilities
- Proficient at troubleshooting of hydraulic and mechanical systems and subcomponents
- Ability to read and interpret Assembly Drawings and Schematics/Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams
- Use a variety of hand and power tools to assemble and repair hydraulic and/or mechanical equipment
- Use hydraulic/pneumatic power units to perform pressure and function testing of assemblies and their subcomponents
- Develop and maintain familiarity with ROV control systems and architecture for interfacing equipment/power and communications
- Develop and complete various project related documentation in a legible, professional, and technical manner that provides clear details of ongoing activities, equipment issues, or other related topics.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of how to maintain, diagnose, and repair hydraulic and mechanical assemblies
- Minimum of 2 years of offshore field service experience, or relevant experience
- Proficient in the Microsoft suite of products
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience in deepwater, subsea, and ROV operations is a plus
- Ability to obtain or in possession of offshore required certifications including but not limited to RigPass, BOSIET, TWIC, and some offshore specific medical screenings
Working Conditions
This position is considered offshore and onshore work which is characterized as follows.
- Outdoors/indoors, day/night, over/near water
- Work on/near moving and/or vibrating equipment
- Comfortable working in humidity above 90%, noise over 85 decibels, intense light/glare
- Work in vicinity of high-pressure hydraulics, high-voltage electrical equipment
- Potential exposure to open fire/flames/sparks
- Constant exposure to airborne dust, fumes, gases
- Work surface is stable, height is elevated
- International travel may be required

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
