Seeking world-class talent to join the world’s leading distributor of automotive and industrial replacement parts and value-added services operating 5,500+ locations and servicing more than 20,000 locations in the U.S and Canada. Specifically, this role will function as the Manager of Business Intelligence (BI) & Analytics in the Enterprise Data & Analytics (EDA) group with responsibility for leading a team of data analysts that deliver innovative solutions with a focus on organizational agility and a commitment to speed to market/value.
This role provides a unique opportunity for an analytics leader to strategize, architect, govern, and lead Genuine Parts Company as a Manager in this space to enable and mature the organization's ability to make data-driven decisions using advanced BI and analytics technologies.
The key areas of focus for this role include building analytics capabilities, creating strategic roadmaps for analytics with business stakeholders and pods in the EDA group, partnering with the BI engineering team to deliver solutions using a bimodal model, and driving self-service capabilities to enable real-time information and predictive insights at scale across the organization by leveraging technology paved paths, reference architecture, design patterns, and industry best practices.
This individual must be a technologist & analytics engineer at heart and be comfortable enabling new technology and being hands-on with the execution of the strategy. In addition, they must exhibit a deep understanding of industry technology trends and the ability to stay current with the competitive landscape, modern technology stacks, and agile delivery models with a demonstrated focus on customer experience.
This individual will partner with senior leadership, business stakeholders, domain teams, and associates + consultants in the EDA group by providing thought leadership to support technology roadmaps and delivery commitments. In addition, they will be responsible for cultivating a data-driven culture by elevating our maturity in analytics, partnering with the BI team to create a centralized reporting & insights platform, and enabling decision making to drive growth, optimize operations, and improve customer experience. As such, exceptional abilities in building and maintaining strong working relationships and organizational savvy will be required. Demonstrated experience explaining complex concepts with insightful narratives to executive leaders and excellent presentation skills are also required.
